2. I voted Todd too
He could have quit after his early 70's fare, but no. He does that whole prog thing, and is just as good at that.

15. He was a hell of a guitar player, and he did a lot of great work
as a producer - made several careers.
A great musician and artist, and a smart guy.

5. Rundgren
Mostly because he played the wicked riff at the beginning of Meatloaf's 'Paradise by the Dashboard Light.'

7. Men who write songs for piano that feature changing chords over a single bass note?
I'm just throwing that out there.

12. I love his sleepy version of "Hello it's me"
as in, HERE:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3dwSOoQXgQU

That's about the only song I really paid attention to by him. I just got a discount CD of his thinking THIS version of THAT song might be on there, but it wasn't, and there wasn't much else I could handle on the CD. He's quite the performer though, 'cept I only seen him on TV once.

Or was it on You Tube? ; )

13. Only one I've seen live is Jackson; he was great, so got my vote
But I wonder if anyone else has seen Todd's son Rex play baseball? I think he's back down in double A after some seasons in triple A . Saw him make maybe the greatest catch I've ever seen in a minor league baseball game ( playing 2nd base for the Albuquerque Isotopes), but he's a classic case of great glove, no bat...Love his dad's music, but Joe Jackson is the man .
