My favorite Ozzy tune- Revelation (Mother Earth) from the Tribute album
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9UBByx8wtE

Mother please forgive them
For they know not what they do
Looking back in history's books
It seems it's nothing new
Oh, let my mother live

Heaven is for heroes
And hell is full of fools
Stupidity, no will to live
They're breaking God's own rules
Please let my mother live

Father of all creation
I think we're all going wrong
The path they're taking
Seems to be breaking
And it won't take too long
Children of the future
Watching empires fall
Madness, the cup they drink from
Self destruction, the toll

I had a vision, l saw the world burn
And the seas had turned red
The sun had fallen, the final curtain
In the land of the dead
Mother, please show the children
Before it's too late
To fight each other, there's no one winning
We must fight all the hate

1. I saw him live in 83' on the Bark At the Moon tour

and Motley Crue was the opener. This song was excellent and the visuals were very cool!
It's hard to believe that was 26 years ago.

2. Yes, I find it hard to believe, too
"Revelation" first appeared on the Blizzard of Oz album which came out in 1980. When I listen to 80s Ozzy, especially early 80s, his bands seem to me to be ahead of the curve creatively. They also sound a lot more talented than many of the rock and metal acts of the time.

4. Musicians come and go, but...
...Randy Rhodes? Who knows what he would have accomplished in the last 27 years since his passing? Congratulations on being at that show.
