1. I've known plenty of idiots who've been in Mensa.
It's meaningless. And Ms. Palin's membership only serves to underscore this fact.

11. Already a card-carrying member, my dear
I actually missed the October '06 quake while visiting Mom in NYC, but we did have a nice aftershock right on Thanksgiving Day -- while I was on the phone with Mom! "Um, Mom, either that was a quake, or a really big truck just went by..." :-)
