1. I know
My 15-year-old daughter puts her station on on the bathroom radio, and when I went in there last night I was blessed with that song.

Of course, in MY day, we had, "Squeeze my lemon, baby, till the juice runs down my leg."

24. which Zep got from Robert Johnson who may or may not have gotten it from somewhere else too.
so that line goes back to at least 1937. ....... I know, not particularly relevant to a Lady Gaga thread, but it's late and I'm bored and thought this might conceivably be interesting to somebody or other,( or not)...

2. Lady GaGa is as subtle as a speeding Freightliner.
I also think she's rather untalented.

3. My teenage daughter has this on her ipod--
I almost gasped out loud when I heard her play it the other day. I said, "So, what do you think this song is about?" Innocently, she replied, "Dancing, what else?" I let it go at that.

5. I couldn't believe it when I first heard that song.
I've since avoided it because it's vile.

7. For some weird reason, I find the song to be really catchy...
And it's played at almost every party I go to.

17. When I was sixteen, a song called "Sexy Eyes" was popular.
It was considered fairly scandalous. How times have changed!

8. Subtlety is a Victorian delusion

For sheer, unabashed bawdiness, you need look no further than The Bard or even the bible.

Lady Gaga is nothing new under the sun, but I'll tell you this: her enunciation is commendable.

However, she's about the worst dancer I've ever seen in a music video.

26. The real version was by Ian Dury & The Blockheads:
http://lyricsplayground.com/alpha/songs/h/hitmewithyourrhythmstick.shtml

which I never heard.

I was thinking of this version:

alos by a male, Ivor Biggun
