Saw Greenday last night at the Pepsi Center

Hands down the BEST concert I have EVER been to!!! Go see them if you get the chace! Here is one of the pics from the cell phone! I love them! At one point they pulled a 12 year old kid out of the audience to play the base during Jesus of Suburbia and he didnt fuck up once! It was so awesome. He hugged BJ Armstrong afterward then did a stage dive, it was well worth the 50 bucks!

1. I'm not much of a Greenday fan
But I do respect the fact that they write a lot of their lyrics about social issues instead of just pussy and beer anthems.

3. Yeah
when they did "Holiday" they had flashes of news media all over the back drop and little streaming messages like they do at the bottom of all the news channels that read, "america has NO MONEY especially for war, war is economic recovery, there is no such thing as war for peace" that type of stuff. The show really kicked ass!!

5. Oh my gawd, that kid will never forget that.
He's probably like a god at his school now.

I saw U2 back in '85, and they pulled a guy out of the audience and started him on playing "Knockin' on Heaven's Door." Then one by one each member left the stage, leaving the guy alone up there. Too cool.

6. I was at the Philly show and loved it. Billie Joe got some tongue from one guys from audience
When he pulled 3 people up for Longview, the one guy grabbed Armstrong and planted a major kiss on the lips for him - even was mentioned in the article write-up reviwing the show in Rolling Stone.

i was so bummed out that i wasn't able to make it. it was only the second time i've missed them since 1997 or so.

11. I love them too!
We saw them August 1st and back in '95. They put on such a great show----playing for 2 1/2 hours, pulling people on stage, putting on funny costumes.

I wish I could see them again on this tour.
