My Fortress of Solitude pictures round 2 (Dial up warning)
Its been about a two and a half years since I posted the last go around of the Fortress room, I finally got the room looking somewhat decent earlier today, granted...not everything is out, I got 4 more totes in my closet.

9. As someone who has collected comics since he was six.....
I bow to you good Sir. And as a fellow fanboy, I am fairly green with envy.

I dream of having a room like this when I am more established and financially stable. I have over 20 longboxes of comics, many novels and posters, racks of collectibles and toys. I dream of setting up a room such as this. I live in a small apt and regretfully have no space for a project like this.

Since I'm more of a Marvel man, I would call mine "The Danger Room."

And once again, well done!

13. The Danger Room is an apt name for
a Marvel fan, :D I'm a Marvel fan as well, but my main man is in DC, well actually my main two guys are in DC (Supes/Bats).

I do like Marvel a lot though, Wolverine, Colosussus, Punisher, Thor, Norrin Radd, Juggernaut...to name a few, :D

Marvel does put out some fantastic toys via The Marvel Legends Line, it seems very apparent that Marvel knows how to market themselves a whole hell of a lot better than DC.

11. Agreed, I got...hmm,
a Super Friends green lantern circa 1983, and a Kyle Rainer GL from roughly 10yrs ago. Its hard to find GL's, or Wonderwoman for that matter, or anything DC that isn't Batman. I was in heaven when Superman Returns came out a few years ago because I knew they would push the toyline a lot harder than usual. With figures the past ten years, Marvel has been kicking ass, the Marvel Legends Line is very good. The DC Superhero's line is just as good as Marvels, but I can hardly ever, ever ever, find them.

I got at least two/three Wonderwomans, all of them are in the 4-5 pack figure sets. The one I'm really looking for now is the 7inch Captain Marvel, I've seen it advertised but have been unsuccesful in finding him, except in the 3 inch figure, which is pretty overpriced.

16. There was a lot of JLU
figures from the cartoon, and I got a 3 pack of figures from the JLU with the green arrow...I wish I would've made this pictures bigger when I uploaded them, usually when I go big on uploading jpegs the pictures are huge, these are medium, and they are a bit too small.

I tend to shy away from the JLU figures though because they look rather, well blockish, but I do got a decent amount of JLU style figures.

12. You wouldn't want to do anything crazy with those toys...
...like give them to children or anything.

And make sure you stick a baseball pennant to the wall to make sure it all looks manly.

14. its actually a Seahawk Pennant....
:D

I do give toys away to kids...I got a crate full of toys that kids can play with when they come over, I got some inlaws with kids in the 5yr old range, and when they come over their heads go "poof" when they see the room, then I sling my crate of toys over to them, and they have at it...

I've only had one casualty so far, the Terminator got its arms ripped off by Rocksteady...but super glue is a wondrous creation.

22. Its very hard for me to find Superman stuff
At times I wish I was a Star Wars, Spiderman, Batman freak, because finding the memorabilia for them is quite easy.

I don't know many Superman fans, about the only one I know of on DU is Canniken, and in real life I know of one other besides myself.

24. I just nabbed Captain Marvel, Cyborg,
Batman(from Batman Beyond), and Hawk Man. I'm on the look out for Mr. Miracle, and another Captain Marvel. I got Blue Beetle, but from another series back in 98 or so, he isn't anything near as good as what the DCU figures are.
