Does anyone really need for it to be 70 degrees when it's 100 outside?

How is that not stupid... can anyone explain this to me?

:scared:

1. Easy
Architects can't design a decent HVAC system for shit. (Or when they can, the person/corporation hiring them won't pay for a decent system.) It's always either too cold or too hot, when the building people turn the heat on at all.

You should compare the temp in your office to the temps in the bathrooms. I'll bet they are at least five degrees colder ;)

2. I'll trade. It's 102 in my room right now.
I'd kill for 70 degrees and dry. It can't get cold soon enough. I run fans right into December, and have no heat where I am. And I love it. :)

3. You could live here since it's all-bills-paid
:D

Rent's not bad for the area ($600 for one-bedroom, $700 for two) and you can run your a/c constantly :)

But office buildings are notorious for keeping their interiors way too cold, since the glass outer skin heats up so much. I usually have to wear a jacket even when it's well over a 100 outside.

5. Hell no.
I don't want to be all sweaty at work, either.

I'm with you on the can't get cold soon enough part though. Except for buying the kids' winter clothes. Gah, money.
