My granddaughter is collecting and is due to run out pretty soon. Can't find a job and hasn't a clue (like her g'ma) about the extension. I live in NC and she's in NJ. I'd appreciate any tips from people who've been there and done it.
My husband just filed for his extension this past week. He said he had to fill out a questionnaire online and submit it. Took all of a few minutes. In a few days, he was approved.
Although sometimes it's hard to speak to a human if there is a problem. My son deals with it occasionally. He works construction/big equipment so he can get laid off several times a year.
:hug: I wish she'd move here to NC. I have the room and it would make things easier. But, you know kids, their friends are sooo important. I remember those times ;)
