What size of crayon box did you have on the first day of school?
1st grade: 16
2nd and 3rd: 32
4th: 48
5th and 6th: 64

Blue-Green was good. gold, silver and copper were cheesy.

1. Just 8.
They were the big ones that were flat on one side and the box didn't open from the top edge with a flap. It was a stiff cardboard box and when laid flat, the whole top lifted off, kind of like a gift box opens if that makes sense.

They are making these crayons again, calling them anti-roll crayons, it appears, but with the newer box.

2. I forgot all about those. Mine weren't crayon brand, but some cheap brand.

4. Absolutely. I had to wait for 2 years to get one....
of course I was horrible at art, just wanted all the colors and the sharpener.
