Just saw Inglourious Basterds and must say it was a FUN movie.

Plenty of bloody violence, plenty of laughs, nice mix of genres, and other than a few scenes being overly long, I gave it a solid 8. It was a really good time at the movies.

2. It was a good time

Unlike Death Proof even the scenes that could have been shorter were at least there for a reason. The added length made the scenes suspenseful, your heart was pounding cause you knew the shit was about to hit the fan. Brad Pitt was hilarious, I was shocked at how great his Italian was. Good movie y'all, its going to make a ton of money, the frat boys in my theatre LOVED it and I enjoyed right along with them.

As good as Pulp Fiction. If you ever wanted to see what it looks like for a guys head to be beaten in with a baseball bat this is the movie for you. I loved it really want to kill some Nazis (said like Brad Pitt) now. So damn good perfect Tarentino

5. I think that the movie is obviously Tarantino's WWII fantasy

It's dreamlike in it's sequencing and genre mixing. I think looking at it in that regard makes it even more fun, it's like you just went through Quentin's fun dream. I even dug the Bowie bit, "everybody loves a montage!"
