5. A couple of local Portland bands

The Sweaty Nipples (one of them used to ride my bus, the one who looked like Carrot Top's little brother) and the Butthole Surfers (who actually met with some success and were billed in the local newspaper as the "BH Surfers" to avoid offending little old ladies in the 'burbs who read the nightclub/new bands section). Oh, and the Cherry Poppin' Daddies, who became just "the Daddies" to similarly avoid giving offense.

20. One I got a kick out of needs their stage act visible to really make it

Band's King Konqueror, and last I heard they were doing a kind of weird reggae/ska thing. On stage they're three MiBs and a drummer in a gorilla suit, who escaped a few times during the act.
