Here a collection of some of my vacation pictures in the Tuscany last week.

I flew into Pisa, over the Alps

This is the village (Lari) we stayed in

This is the view we had from our vacation condo

Saturday we went to Arezzo

Monday we went to Pistoia, Prato and Vinci

Da Vinci's birthplace

Wednesday we went to Florence

Friday we went to San Gimignano

Some Italian scenes

Saturday we went home :(

Great pictures as usual.
Was it as hot in Tuscany as it was in Rome? We were roasting and being on vacation schedule meant we slept in and ended up being out in the hottest part of the day all the time.

Yes, it was as hot. Temps in the 90s. When we went to visit cities we got up early so that we wouldn't be out in the hottest part of the day. The other days we stayed near our pool ... LOL

How did you like Rome? I hope you post some pictures too!!!

Particularly emotional for me at this moment, as spent honeymoon in Italy 25 years ago; drove around the country. Included passing thru San Gemignano, fabulous lunch in Parma, lovely time at Lake Como, and wonderful Florence; terrible time driving to find hotel; parked in a square, near/at church your picture!

So tomorrow have hearing in court leading up to separation agreement. Emotions really up and down today.

vacation picture with us. I see that you included the (ahem) obligatory cat picture(s). ;)

Great shot/angle of the dome and the open air market must have been fun to browse through. I always say that one can tell a lot about a region, it's culture by the food (open air market, grocery store, restaurants, etc.).

The night scene is interesting too. What is the point of interest that so many people assembled in that area?

Oh, and I too would have spent time in that pool!

how fun. I have yet to master even a mediocre night scene. It's a feature that I must learn how to use on my camera.

Your street musicians (France) certainly captures the flavor of the day.
