Let뭩 say you book a tour with some touring company, Globus, Trafalgar, etc.,

and you book your own flights.

What if the touring company cancels the tour? Seems to me you run the risk of getting stuck with the tickets.

2. Thanks, Peggy. I usually try to avoid buying that.

But I wonder if they'd try to weasel out of it. Insurance companies have a habit of trying to weasel out of whatever they can possibly weasel out of.

3. We usually buy it...

And we used it once.

We had decided to take a brief vacation in Hawaii, and then I got sick. So we canceled, and the insurance paid.

I don't recall any hassle, though...
