Tom Cruise rocks!! (at least in one movie, anyway)

I just saw Tropic Thunder. This was a first, because when Tom Cruise appeared, I didn't feel like throwing something at the screen.

It's basically a kinda dumb movie, but sometimes I like that sort of thing. Tom Cruise's character was funny as hell.

That's all. No spoilers, I hope.

3. He's made some good films.

I liked him in Risky Business, Color of Money, Born on the Fourth of July, Few Good Men, Minority Report.

The shit-eating grin Tom Cruise persona in Top Gun and Cocktail is rather annoying though.

i know it's fun to hate on cruise because of his inane personal life bur the few films i've seen, he's pretty good

also rainman...if we knew nothing about him, except his work, i think we'd like him a lot
