13. One of the canes has the traditional curve in it.
The other one is a white one with a red tip.

The blind part of it I'm just inferring, but I found it interesting.

7. That's pretty much standard in small towns.
Sidewalks are a luxury ejoyed by urban dwellers, suburbanites, and visitors to rural downtowns. Rural small town residential areas over 20 years old typically don't have them, and only a portion of the newer ones do.

I didn't live in a house with a sidewalk out front until I was 17.

10. Yay! That's what I saw too.
Originally I was looking way down the street, but I noticed him and zoomed over to where he was walking.

I hope it's the kind of thing where everyone knows he walks in the middle of the street and just gives him room.

Look at length of the shadow of the man walking compared to the cars and tree

17. That's distortion from the Street View cameras...
Google stitches together multiple images and maps them onto the inside of a sphere... to allow the user to pan around and look up and down. Notice how everything is distored along the edges.

18. Then the objects causing the shadows should have the same distortion
as the shadows. The images stitched together must have been taken at different times of day.
