1. my sons bike was stolen out of our front yard
and we found it at the pawn shop. The lady that stole it used her real ID and she was arrested for it. She was a known crackhead, so I guess the proceeds from the sale of the bike went for a rock.

They made me pay the pawn shop for the bike, though. I thought it was pretty stupid to have to pay for my own property. I got restitution through the courts a few months later. I think the pawn shop should have been out the money until they got restitution. If a lady is coming in and selling three or four bikes a week and he keeps buying them wouldn't the pawn shop owner have some sort of responsibility to recognize she was stealing them?

2. That makes no sense. The Pawn shop was guilty of helping the crack head
fence stolen property. Pretty sure that's against the law. I am also pretty sure that the pawn shop is not allowed to keep or sell back to the owner the stolen property once discovered. I have to wonder if the police were on the Pawn Shop's payroll or some similar.

4. "Scienter"
It would be difficult if not impossible to prove the pawn-shop owner had "guilty knowledge" of the theft.

3. I used to work next door to a pawn shop
Every time I saw a crack head or other low life looking thief bringing a $200 - $300 bike in the parking lot I'd call the cops immediately but it would always take them two hours or more to get there and by that time the thief was gone with his $20 and the pawn shop owners were like "what bike?"

5. NO REWARD
"Drawn from memory, may not be to scale"

"I hope my bike takes you straight to hell."

That is one cool flyer.

11. Lol!
I've had a few bikes stolen in my time. It is a minor industry in Key West.

I like the way that peep thinks.
