Good morning Lounge
How are you today?

The week is almost over :woohoo: But it will be a long day for me. I have an event to join this evening. Good thing I can sleep in tomorrow.
Do you have any plans this weekend? Me, none. Doing my household and relax. :)

1. Good morning Miss Honeychurch.
It is so early that I can say good morning, so that why I say it instead of my usual "hello".

My plans for the weekend will be as always. Playing with airplanes at work.

Meantime, my suitcase is still packed for NC and I am hoping to get out next Tuesday. Unfortunately, with Labor Day coming up the flights may be booked out again. Sometimes it is difficult to fly non-rev (standby).

5. Yes, I should not complain.
But I will anyway. Tomorrow is my last day off, plus I lost my prescription sunglasses so I am not a happy camper.

Oh well.

Now I say good night as I try and get a couple more hours sleep.

I've enjoyed your wonderful trip pictures. Thank you for sharing them. Try to stay busy today and the day will go by quicker. It's good you can relax this weekend. I have plans to meet up with some of my "nerd" friends and just relax the rest of the time. It's the first weekend I've had off in months.

8. We're gonna meet for lunch



at an excellent old pizza place in town. Me and some artist types that get together once a month and talk about art, movies, comics, and other related stuff. It's a group called Houston Figure Modelers. We've been meeting for about 12 years now. They are really great friends. It's an eclectic group of people I really have learned a lot from. It's been hard this summer to organize meetings, I'm not sure why.

It's another rainy day here. I love the rain. :) Your weekend sounds very inviting. I have to work all day Saturday. We've been working overtime all week and will continue to do so through September. 10 hour days plus Saturdays. Sundays will be on the agenda too if we get down to a crunch. It's year end.

I hope you enjoy your weekend. I'm looking forward to having Sunday off.

I love your picture of the virgins. The coloring makes them look a little eerie.

Thought I'd stop by to say good morning before I head out to the river. I don't know how long we'll be able to row mornings. It's pitch dark right now, and it's still dark when we get to the boat house. But we've got to grab river time when we can.

Have a great time at your work event (you know, it just may be more fun that you anticipate), and it's good that you can sleep in tomorrow morning.

I work tomorrow for 5 hours, then I'm off for 2 weeks. I may hit the Jersey shore for a few days after Labor Day, but for one week I shall do nothing. After four years wothout a vacation, nothing is a wonderful thing to do. :rofl:

My stupid cat decided to wake me up 30 minutes before I had to get up by doing things she is not allowed to, like sitting on my end table and knocking everything on the floor (like a lamp and my glasses) and scratching at my bed. I'm a little grumpy with her now.

I have no definite plans this weekend, except finish the embroidery I'm working on. It's a cute little fish scene on a towel for one of my friend's daughter's bathroom.

How's your day going so far?

the "joys" of having a cat. This is after last night when my mum and sister came over and spoiled her like crazy. She should have been perfectly behaved. :rofl:


I'm glad it's an okay day. :) It's rainy here, which is actually good, because it is getting rid of the heat we've had for the past couple of weeks. I'm looking forward to autumn! :D

although after watching the history channel special on what Mary would be like based on where she lived and archaeological evidence, none of them are very realistic. A proper depiction of the Virgin mary should show a woman of Middle East orgins where brown uncolored clothes.
