Alley made a batch of chocolate muffins and went to bed.
I helped by waiting for the timer to go off, and pulling them from the oven. :evilgrin: I just sampled one and it was the best freaking muffin I've ever had. She had never made them before and they turned out perfect, I am one lucky dude!!!

I get a little buzz from chocolate and right now I have a chocolate induced euphoria thing going... Ahhhh..

We have recently made soap, put up our own pickles, we graduated from barrel composting to worm composting, and we are improving our ice-cream making skills. I kind of dig making our own stuff..

11. Pretty well, her doctor said she is healing nicely.
She got her walking cast off the weekend before last, and we celebrated by kayaking at La Jolla. That was a bit much for her, but she also started physical therapy, and night swimming at the local plunge.

She's been taking it easy the last two weeks, but tomorrow we are going to Bolsa Chica, I'm going to get a surf session in, and Alley, and little Alley will frolic in the surf.

Of course you won't be spared from a picture thread.
