Good morning Lounge
How are you today?

Did you have a relaxing weekend?

As told before I had to attend work-related events Friday evening and Saturday evening. Both were very nice and I had a good time. Yesterday I slept a lot, did my laundry and read. Lazy Sunday. Today it is back to work.

A busy weekend here. Worked and got paid for overtime, thankfully I'm not on salary and OT hours are paid at time and a half, double after 48hrs.

Your picture is most interesting. Glad you had a good weekend too!

My puppy is growing like a weed. He was 6 lbs when we got him and now he's 10lbs! I'll have to take more photos of him and spam the lounge :)

That is good to hear that you are getting paid OT. I get 4 hours plus on my time account for attending Friday and Saturday. No money, but I am happy ybout plus time too.

Interesting picture.

Glad to hear that you had a good time at your work events (and that you're getting comp time), and that you took time to relax on Sunday. My weekend was rather low key. Went rowing Saturday morning, but the rest of the weekend was taken up by a few domestic chores, some cooking, and lots of relaxing.

9. There's still plenty
left. I'll fix you a plate. ;)

Typically I cook on Sunday afternoons and have enough leftovers for a few days. Works out well.

It is a chilly morning here. It's far too early in the season for such cool mornings. I wish we would get that hot weather that other parts of the states are experiencing.

I had me yesterday a baked potato with curd and breast of turkey. I try to start eating healthier. Also, I plan to start with aqua fitness, I hope I can pull it through and lose some pounds and get back in shape.

not really difficult. I know that you are a good cook, and I'm sure you can come up with some tasty, health things to eat.

I hear you about working out. I've got some extra pounds to lose too. I can't imagine how much I'd weigh if I didn't work out so much.

Aqua fitness should be fun. And the bonus to exercising in the water - it takes four times as much energy to do something in the water as topside.

Gotta pack my lunch and head out to work.

12. Good Afternoon, MissH!
I had a very pleasant weekend...but I didn't get to work on the calendar, which I'm kind of sad about - I'll have to focus tonight and tomorrow. I did go out with friends yesterday. :-)

I've been embroidering towels for a friend's daughter's bathroom, and I finished one of them over the weekend and started the second one, which shouldn't take me nearly as much time...I'm hoping to be done with them this week. The bathroom is sea themed, and I have to say, if I never sew another fish again, I'll be happy. They are cute, but 12 of them were a little much. :rofl:

when they are done.

Truthfully though, these are not the most artistic or original designs I've done. I've started designing my own stuff, and I'm more excited about those. They make good gifts, because I can tell people that they are truly original, unique pieces. :D

At some point, I'm going to put together a gallery of all the things I've embroidered. That would be interesting.

Glad you had a nice weekend. :thumbsup: It was a rainy long weekend here, add the stress of helping mobility-challenged and sick parents. My dad had to go to the hospital last night from the nursing home. Hopefully they'll figure out what's wrong with him.

more to aging badly and not taking care of himself and this and past incidents being the result. Take care of yourself while you're young and strong, you do not want to be old and sick.
