I think you mean which is more real, experience or the memory of it. The present experience is the only reality. Memory and works are really our only proof of those experiences. Memory is the only proof of a continued existence. They go hand in hand, you can't separate them. Experiences meld and overlap together to create a lifetime so there is really only one long experience. If I'm wrong about this please mind that I only took one philosophy course in college. Any one else want to give this a go?

10. It's all memories
You cannot perceive actual experience - your senses aren't up to it. Your mind takes what it can and creates a first memory that gets rewritten (and enhanced or otherwise changed) each time you "remember" it.
