The sound of stupidity - a neon sign couldn't have been more clear.
My wife just left after her break. We usually walk around the block. Just down the street, we have an elderly guy who is constantly trying to get us to go see really awesome Christian bands - no charge, but donations are strongly encouraged. We thank him for the information and excuse ourselves.

Today, he was washing his SUV with the radio on and there was some weasel running through the GOP talking points. It was REALLY loud. I'm sure he wanted the entire neighborhood to know his ignorance. As best as I can tell, the monologue went something like this...

"There's still this talk about waterboarding being torture, which is questionable, most disagree. But now they're talking about power drills. Being threatened with a power drill? (makes "whirrr-whirr" noises). That's the new sound of torture? ("whirrr-whirr") Oh, I'm so afraid."

That's the best I can remember it and I plan to hunt down and carve out whatever neurons are preserving that stupidity immediately after posting this. How loud can you broadcast "I'M A FUCKING IDIOT" to the neighborhood?
