Worst sentence you've read at work in the last month? Here's one from an e-mail:
I have yet to take inventory of the what other parts
still reside in your shop and will in the next week
or so and make requests for those parts once I get a
handle on what we and and what still remain in the shop.

1. I can translate that for you:
Joey just scored a big ol' bag of weed so I'll be sort of stoned until at least next Thursday and when I come out of it and finish three pizzas I'll dig around and see what parts are in the shop and what we need to order.

3. From a phone conversation:
"One of our customers reached out to us last week and said that someone from XX Company had reached out to him, claiming to be working on our behalf. We reached out to YY to find out who hired him, and they never reached out to us in response."

Translation: A customer emailed us with a complaint that someone had called his office saying he worked with us. We called YY to see who hired him but they never got back to us.

"Reach out"? "Reach out"? What's wrong with email, call, or contact? I wanted to "reach out" through the damn phone lines and smack him upside the head.

God I hate when the MBAssholes come up with new jargon..

5. We quoted a price to a customer, and received this response:
"That price seems offly high".

But never mind, he owns the company and has more money than I'll ever see.
