I finally got a new computer!
As some of you know, my old computer died last week. It refused to power on, and it seemed to me the likely causes of this would cost more than was worthwhile to repair.
I was looking towards getting a new computer anyway.
So, for the first time, I got myself a laptop...only five hundred bucks, a gateway, and from multiple reviews I've read, a damn good computer for its price.
I like it so far. It comes with Vista but I get a free upgrade to Windows 7, so that's also awesome.
Anyway, it's nice to have my own computer again. :hi:

Nothing like a new one after putting up with a old sick one.

5. Nice. I've been looking at budget Gateway to replace my Mac.
Not that there's anything wrong with my Mac but I badly want something with a bigger screen for movie watching.

I just bought a new i7-based DIY desktop so I'll have to wait on that.
