So I finally decide to set up a Facebook page and have started finding long lost friends -

and I am discovering many are Republicans. I feel a sense of disappointment.

I wonder if they are confused about the fact that I have a Ronald Reagan quote in my profile yet I list Democratic Party under Political Views? Maybe they will remember that I always had a slightly sardonic sense of humor and I love irony.

Do any of you Duers want to be my friend on Facebook? I need to "friend" more Democrats.

my partner is a real old school conservative, who subjects me to the rushes, hannitys levins of the world on a daily basis, you learn to take the good with the bad. i dont think i have any friends who agree with even 1% of my beliefs but they are still my friends...

I have already discovered some don't follow politics at all - they do not even vote! It is fun reconnecting with people all the back to elementary school.
