Take my movie quote quiz (NO Googling, please)
Guess the title of the movie. If you are super good, you can try guessing who says the line...

1. I honestly think you should sit down calmly ... take a stress pill and think things over..

2.It's a friendly call. Of course it's a friendly call.

3. I hope they are watching. They'll see. They'll see and they'll say Why, she wouldn't even harm a fly."

4. For all the things you've done, J.J. I know I should hate you. But I don't. I pity you.

5. He won't come after me. He won't. I can't explain it. He would consider that rude.

6. You shoot off a guy's head with his pants down, believe me, Texas is not the place you wanna get caught.

7. Back off, man. I'm a scientist.

8. Before you know it, the Renaissance will be here and we'll all be painting.

9. Will you just watch the hair?

10. Madness. Madness.

13. You sure did!
You're one of the very few people who got The Sweet Smell of Success quote.

I thought the Woody Allen quote was when he was talking to the sperm. What was the court jester scene?

I tried to choose the quotes that most typified the movies, with only a few hints. Thelma and Louise was the most obvious. Saturday Night Fever was difficult. Everybody got Psycho. Not too many got Bridge over River Kwai. I was surprised that some people didn't get the Strangelove quote since it was that famous scene where the Pres. is talking to Dmitri.

About 5 minutes in, when he was trying to seduce the King's wife.

20. Sure, but one of THE most famous lines from Strangelove is:
"Gentlemen! You can't fight in here! This is the War Room!" :P

22. I thought that would be too easy. The quote I used can be helpful if you think
in context, altho you have to be pretty familiar with the movie (which I confess I am to a certain extent). Also, I just love that scene where the Pres. is trying to carry on a somewhat normal conversation with the Russian premiere.

21. My first thought on #10 was actually "1941" due to remembering it wrong:
"Madness. It's the only way to describe it: madness. This isn't the state of California. This is the state of insanity. G2 should pour knockout drops into the water..."

--General Stilwell (Robert Stack), reacting to the panic in Los Angeles over the threat of a Japanese invasion right after the bombing of Pearl Harbor.
