Spoooooky!
Sat down a few minutes ago and flipped on the teevee. It was tuned to the History Channel, and I was fixing to switch channels as I normally don't watch "Haunted History". But then they started talking about one of my great+grandfathers, Commodore Thomas Truxtun of the USS Constellation. Seems the old boy dresses in full commodore rig and gives tours. I was thinking that if Dad were still alive he'd have really enjoyed seeing that. Then I just chuckled; given Dad's love of tall ships, he's probably giving the old guy a hand with his haunting ways . . .

I have never seen him there. He died of TB, but after he was stationed there. Perhaps he wasn't keen to return there.

His picture is here, under P: http://www.cwoodcock.com/firstmaine/First_Maine_Officers.pdf
