I was at a bus stop downtown last night

I had my backpack with me and this kid asked if he could use my phone..(street kids will sprint off with your phone and use it for a half hour or so and then throw it away when it's deactivated)So I said no. Then he comes back later and askes for a cigarette..I don't smoke..then he came back and asked for a light beacause someone gave him a cigarette..told him i didn't smoke..then he came back and asked for a pen..and then one more time to ask me for paper.

I am so sick of the downtown mentality..i mean, this is a great city but there are too many people DT always trying to get something for nothing.

Oh, the relevance to me having a backpack was he tought i was loaded down with goodies.

I did not have one untill a year ago
