I'll be without internet soon.
I haven't used it much lately and the relatives I'm living with cannot afford it, so it goes. That's where I am, if anyone gets curious. Bye DU, hopefully not forever.

2. if you have a laptop, get a wifi card
many free "hotspots" around where you can mooch internet

Or your local public library probably has computers you can use for free at least for an hour or two a day to check e-mail, DU, whatnot.

That's how I communicate when the power goes out.

I use Opera for wireless on my cell. It's great. I can even watch videos.
