favorite children's movie soundtrack/song?
in old-timey category my favorite is Mary Poppins. Nothing beats Ed Wynn acting totally stoned out singing "I love to laugh"

"lets go fly a kite" second favorite song

I love the music in Wall-E, the instumentals by Thomas Newman really enhance the animation and story,

the scene where Wall-E & Eve are zooming around together in space accompanied by the song "Define Dancing"

Peter Gabriels' song 'Down to Earth' great also in this movie

anybody else have favorites ? The Lion King come to mind, great songs in that movie.

:hi:

Deep in the Hundred Acre Wood
Where Christopher Robin played
You'll find an enchanted neighborhood
from Christopher's childhood days

A donkey named Eeyore is his friend
And Kanga, and little Roo
There's Rabbit, and Piglet, and there's Owl
But most of all, Winnie the Pooh

Winnie the Pooh
Winnie the Pooh
Chubby little cubby all stuffed with fluff
He's Winnie the Pooh
Winnie the Pooh
Silly willy nilly old bear

3. "Rainbow Connection" - Kermit.
I guess technically it is a kid's movie, but it is one of my favorites.

6. I love the Mary Poppins songs, too, but my fav. modern one is "I Like To Move It"
from Madagascar. Irresistible dance song.

7. "Pure Imagination" from "Willie Wonka". Not when sung by Gene Wilder, but
there's a wonderful version by Michael Feinstein and an exquisite version by the song's composer, Anthony Newley.
