15 Essential Cover Tunes and what I've been up to...

It's been quite a while since I've posted on DU and I figured I should catch some of my old friends on what I've been up to as well as take the opportunity to shamelessly self-promote my current activities on here.

Even during the time that I was posting heavily on DU, I was going to school and as the workload and class schedule got more hectic I just lost a lot of time to participate here. With a full-time job, full-time class load and a family, it just got hard to find extra time. But I still lurked here on occassion and I have to tell you how I thrilled I was to see Barak Obama elected president.

In any event, I am currently in my Senior year of my Computer Science degree and am frantically working on my senior project, which is a Java application that emulates an electronic instrument known as a theremin using the Wii remote. But in addition to that, my blog focuses on the convergence of music and technology.

I used to be pretty active here in the Lounge discussing music with folks and so I thought this would be a cool place to post my http://mojosdojo.com/?p=233">list of 15 great cover songs.
