1.  Empty tear or filled tear?
Edited on Sun Sep-13-09 07:19 PM by 1Hippiechick
Copied from Wikipedia:

The teardrop tattoo or tear tattoo is a symbolic tattoo that is placed underneath the eye. The tattoo has several connotations. Teardrop tattoos usually signify the loss of a friend or loved one. An empty tear signifies that the loved one has been killed or that the bearer has unsuccessfully attempted murder.<1> A filled tattoo signifies that a loved one has taken his or her own life, or was killed by a cause other than murder (car crash, death penalty, etc.) A tear with an empty top and a full bottom means that the wearer has avenged the murder of a loved one. The majority of the 'tear tattoos' seen in popular culture today, however, signifies that the wearer has killed, with the number of tears representing the number of kills.<1>

Tear tattoos, when given in prison, primarily to indicate that the bearer has murdered someone, either in or out of jail.<1><2><3> The tattoo can also be given to commemorate a loved one who died while the wearer was incarcerated.<2>

4. Ya sure? I love to ask ppl about their tattoos, which always stuns my hubby
who later enjoys the story behind them--especially when their arms are covered in colorful ones. I've heard some truly touching stories. There may be a touching story behind the teardrop on your new neighbor's tattoo, too....er, uh,....tattoo also?

5. Actually, I don't mind him being here.
He's one of three adults watching six young children.

The sound of their fun is good.

6. Add to that: people change, and tattoos are not easily removed.
He may surprise you and be an excellent neighbor.

10. My old downstairs neighbor had an Aryan Brotherhood Tattoo
He got it when he was a dumb 15 year old. He never was in a gang but his buddies thought it was cool He covers it up now and when to great lengths to apologize (i am brown and considers me a friend) and I believe him. People sometimes get stupid tatoos when they are young
