Serena Williams got off lightly
A fine of only ten grand , for threatening to shove a tennis ball down a linesperson's throat.

I can imagine what would happen if an nba player threaten the same thing to a nba ref, he would be out for months.

But yes, I thought she got off very lightly. It's not like she just stepped onto the court yesterday and doesn't know how to handle herself.
