Grr. I ordered a backpack for my daughter on 8/15 and still don't have it. Efforts to contact the seller amount to nothing. What a pain in the butt. x(
We lived in Louisiana at the time and ordered something from a store in Arizona. Never came. I contacted them. They gaffed me off. I wrote to the Arizona's Attorney General's Office and filed an official complaint against the store. The AG's office was helpful and informed us they had received other complaints from that store and they were under investigation. We never did get the relatively inexpensive sports item I orderd, but I did get the satisfaction of slapping a nail in their pine box.
My wife purchases a lot of stuff online with no trouble (relative to not getting stuff.) She's had some funny incidents of getting stuff she didn't order.
Most online payment methods have a dispute policy, so if you've attempted to contact the seller and had no luck, contact your CC or Paypal and file a dispute.
a website that turned out to be defunct - a phantom site. Glad I wasn't billed for the earrings, but I really had to scurry to get something else for my daughter-in-law in time for Christmas that year.
