Every sports site has an article about the Yankees starting and ending at Fenway Park. Has everyone forgotten that they share the same division as Red Sox and that divisional teams usually begin and end the sesaon playing eachother?

5. I know people hate that these two teams get so much attention, but...
..it's clearly the best rivalry in the game. Both teams have legions of fans in other cities (I know from Sox road games that half the crowd is there to see Boston sometimes), and their appeal is much bigger than the New England/NY area. Even if one hates both teams, if they love the game itself they should admit that both teams play the game the right way, and that watching two quality teams play one another is a pleasure as a baseball fan.

If Fox is always showing them it's for one reason:ratings. No offense to other cities and their fans, but these two teams are a ratings bonanza for anyone covering them. Do you think the Brewers or the Twins generate this kind of talk outside of Milwaukee or Minnesota? The fact that we're talking about this at all shows the effect the teams have on the sports world.
