math help, please
I have one dollar amount:

667,124.17

I subtract another dollar amount:

434,776.12

The difference is:

232,348.05

How can I figure out what percentage of 667,124.17 the difference is?

2. OK
divide the 232,348.05 by the 667,124.17 and then multiply that by 100

5. That is interesting
I learned it a bit different (in the end it is the same actually)

667,124.17 = 100%
232,348.05 = x%

232,348.05 x 100 / 667,124.17 = 34,8%

7. I always found it easy to imagine it when I used 1 %

1% of 667,124.17 is 6,671.2417

Now I just have to find out how many times the 1% fits into 232,348.05

232,348.05 / 6,671.2417 = 34.8283064
