I got my GED.

I just got back from GTCC and I passed my last test(writing) so they are going to mail me my GED. I don't really know what to think right now as it has not really sunk in.

I got mine in 83. I was an over-achiever until about 11th grade - then things went south. I even took community college courses at night while I was in high school (pioneered what became a regular program). I burned out. I never graduated. Two years later, I took the GED and passed.

36. I did that in '82. It really was exhausting mentally.

I only did half days of HS work, but then I was generally in day and evening classes until 11:00 at night.

I graduated HS, but burned out a couple semesters into the college life.

I dropped out of school my senior year and got my GED right away. Then I signed up for community college and found I was actually good at academics when there wasn't a looming disciplinary presence. Whatever you do from here on best of wishes.
