I'm a wannabe artist, and I have a life drawing group that meets in my home weekly. One of the models has been coming for nearly two years, and wanted to come tonight, but another model had already confirmed. So this evening my wife was watching the news and sees my model, and they're saying that she is wanted for aggravated robbery. According to the local police department's website, she and a male accomplice beat and robbed a 31 year old man in his apartment last month.
This isn't as big a deal with me as it is for my wife, who is now insisting that this girl not return to our house. She does not want a wanted criminal under our roof (unless, she said, there's a reward, and we can wait until the girl takes her clothes off, and poses for the group, making an easy catch for the cops.)
My wife makes a good point. I've had to disown my own brother because his criminal activity was too risky for us to be around, so why would I have some other high-risk person in our home?
PS: She has a past history of this kind of thing, but now it's developing into a pattern of behavior.
