I'm truly not being selfish here...I find that I tend to rise to the occasion. If my partner is exceptional, my performance improves...even if I were the best lay ever, if my partner was a cold fish my performance would be mediocre as I'd just not be into it.

Edit: I guess means it's some sort of symbiotic thing.
