A trashy romance story took a true-crime twist for a Kansas couple who sought privacy in a dumpster to have sex.

While sharing what Wichita cops called an "intimate moment," the man and woman, both 44, were robbed at knifepoint, the Wichita Eagle reports.

A 59-year-old assailant, accompanied by a 64-year-old man who egged him on, robbed the lovers of shoes, jewelry and a wallet last Saturday.

And doesn't it seems like the muggers were a little long in the tooth to be mugging? Maybe people getting it on in dumpsters are easier prey, like when lions get old they have to settle for the weak and/or stupid wildebeest.

Always wondered where that gooey stuff comes from that the trucks drip all over the roads.

So unhygienic too. Course, some dumpsters have just cardboard and such. They're not all from that gnarly restaurant genre.

And don't even get me started on medical waste. Cause that's a whole 'nuther bag of syringes.

And the dumpster is still fresh from the showroom at DumpsterWorld? And hasn't been on active duty yet.

And it's really plush with a queen sized bed and nice lighting? And music? And no one around, cause it's late on a Sunday? And there's snacks.

And it's polished stainless steel instead of the standard 'dumpster green'. Wouldn't all that make the least bit of difference? I mean, come on.

And like I said, he's really hot and he likes you a lot.
