Anyone out there remember the old radio show called
the Fat Man? They used to put his weight at 238lbs. Now a days, he's a light weight.

This ought to bring back old memories: http://www.archive.org/details/otr_fatman

3. Created for radio by Dashiell Hammett.
Woman: There he goes...into that drugstore. He's stepping on the scales.

Sound: Clink of a coin.

Woman: Weight...two hundred and thirty-seven pounds.

Sound: Card dropping.

Woman: Fortune...danger!

Music: Sting.

Woman: Whoooo is it?

Man: The Fat Man!

5. Maybe he was 4 foot 9? But then he'd be "the Short Man"
Yeah, I'm a heavy guy, and I look back at old shows and movies like The Honeymooners (or others that escape my mind at the moment), and characters/actors who were considered "hugely fat" seem to be pretty reasonable by today's standards.
