So my boss handed out a quality award today... :-)

The "Kevin Brasille Award for Quality"

Subcatagory: "For 'not immediataly obvious' quality"

Here's a pic:

Somebody on day shift fucked up and put a part in the autoloader backwards. To put it another way, that hole there, on the left? It ain't suppose to be there!

About six hours later, the hole that wasn't suppose to be there, was there.

It's suppose to look like this:

Fortunately this little fiasco didn't break anything expensive, like, say, a $4,000 custom tool.

The award is named after a former employee with a multitude of problems that included an arrest in Wisconsin for cocaine. :-)

I'm glad I'm not a certain employee on day shift... :scared:

I'm glad you're not a certain employee on the day shift too!

But I think that this approach is a good one so that the employee who made the mistake will get the lesson very clearly!

A little shame goes a long way...

Hopefully that person will learn......and never repeat!
