1. My dear Liberal_in_LA!
We recorded it and just finished watching a bit ago...

I was enthralled and mesmerized!

I haven't watched any main stream TV in decades, and it's nice to see how they've made such good use of special effects...

I will be watching the rest of the season.

:hi:

5. I watched it and enjoyed it completely
The pilot episode captured the terror and confusion that a 2:17 blackout would cause, it didn't minimize the death and destruction that would occur, but it also didn't dwell on it or make it morbid.

It's one of the most promising first episodes of any TV show that i've ever seen, now let's see if they can keep it up.

7. I loved how they just glossed over the fact that the VP died though
"Air Force 2 went down. The VP was on it"
(1 second pause)
"oh"
"moving on..."

9. I caught that, but what was more important was the fact that
it wouldn't be Air Force 2 if the VP weren't on it.

Air Force 1 is only Air Force 1 if the President is on the plane, AF2 is AF2 only when the VP is on the plane.

10. Hopefully is won't get cancelled before a satisfying ending like 'Invasion" and "surface"
I've been sucked into the sci-fi series before just to have them cancelled

19. Watched it both nights
Yesterday the first 15 min were so confusing that I decided to watch it again. Also, convinced my spouse to join me.

16. I tried watching, but I couldn't stick with it in spite of it being a genre I generally like.
Maybe I'll scope it out again online but I am not sure I want to get into another series that seems to make up its plots as it goes along, leading the viewers along by the nose. Maybe I've gotten to where I just don't enjoy shows anymore whose entire point to watch is to be continued in the next episode.

17. I loved it.
But then I'm a sucker for that type of show. It will probably go the the way of Jericho and most of the other shows that I like.

21. I hear ya. I watched 'invasion' and 'surface'. It's pretty frustrating to have your show cancelled
before the story ends

20. Couldn't get throught the first 20 minutes.
The acting was atrocious, bordering on hilarious. When Cho was getting all tough in that woman's face, that was enough for me.

22. I just watched it online
I'll record it so I can zip through the commercials.

The background music puzzled me until I realized that it's just like the music in daytime soaps.

Also, I caught the name of the author of the book this series is based on and ordered it up from the library. I'm curious about the original version of the story. But I'll still watch the series to see how it shakes out for tv.

24. I liked it with one minor complaint
I'm tired of never seeing one single happily married couple on tv. Everyone is always divorced or on the brink of divorce.
Tv execs may not believe it but there really are couples who are happy together and we'd like to see ourselves represented on a show.

25. I didn't like the show
It seemed like an interesting concept and I was a little intrigued by the part where they found the one person who didn't pass out. The show, however, just doesn't work for me. The acting isn't very good. The show seemed a little cliche and cheesy too. I barely made it through the first episode and I won't be watching from now on.
