Renowned pianist de Larrocha dies

Spanish pianist Alicia de Larrocha, a child prodigy who went on to become one of the greatest musicians of her era, has died aged 86.

The petite pianist, who measured just under five foot (1.52m), won praise for her technique and judgement of tempo.

1. What a loss to the classical music world...

I never was lucky enough to hear her in person, but I've heard many of her recordings...

She was so damn good, which hardly says it well enough...

Safe passage to her!

My condolences to all who love her...

Now how you can play the piano and get tenths and be that small, I don't know.
I'm a piano player and I'm about her size, and I can't reach more than an octave.
