I just got asked out by a cute girl I am currently smitten with.
She lives in Toronto, so I won't get to see her until I'm home for (Canadian) Thanksgiving in a couple of weeks. She's incredibly pretty and smart, and a huge activist. Life is awesome.

I'm having a great time. I'd imagined some would be a bit mean because, well, I've never seen a board in which the n00bs weren't hassled. But everyone at DU has been great to me thus far. Thanks for asking! I don't know what took me so long to find and post here.

And have a great time with the girl! She does sound great. :D

Treat her right and don't blow it! Been there and (luckily) done that.

I got my one great shot at happiness 35 years ago. I held on for dear life (I was in Philadelphia and she was in Münster/Westfalen--not an easy task back then), but we're still together today. If she's THE one, like the song says, "never ever let her go."
