Help! I can't think of a word and it's driving me nuts
Here's the context in which I want to use it.

In a show of _______ with Chad Pennington, I am declaring my football season over.

Or

In ____ with Chad Pennington, I am declaring my football season over.


It's not support, solidarity, alignment, commisseration - I've seen it used here on DU in the context of showing support to various politicians.

It's on the tip of my brain.

what else you can come up with.

But I know I've seen another word used, and here are some more examples of context -

In ____ with gay couples, Charlize Theron will not marry her boyfriend until gay couple can marry.

In a show of ____ with the uninsured, Rush Limbaugh will go on a hunger strike until health reform is passed.
