Chili and a Grilled Cheese sammich. Is there a more perfect combination?
Slow simmered, hand diced, beef chuck cooked with tomatoes, onions, peppers, and beans. Grilled cheese made with whole wheat and a couple different cheese...

I am SO full.

3. Do you make a cream of tomato or a straight tomato soup?
I like both, but I have to confess that I've been known to open up a can of Campbell's from time to time.

Gotta serve that with buttered Ritz crackers, however. That was the one meal guaranteed to cure any sick kid in my mom's house.

5. I prefer cream, but I have no problem eating Campbell's either.
Just last week we ate some Campbell's cream of tomato. It is easier obviously, and still tasty. Of course, homemade is the best way to go if you have the time. And ritz are good with just about any damn thing!

2. Spaghetti & salad.
Cheese & crackers & grape juice.
Lasagna & salad.
Cherry pie & vanilla ice cream, washed down with club soda.
McDonald's french fries dunked in a vanilla shake.
Maybe 1000 others. I guess I'm ready for dinner.

6. "Do you expect me to talk? " "No, Mr Bond, I expect you to die."
Goldfinger works for me, but it does need to be real Champagne.

9. Funny. I am about to serve turkey chili and cornbread (with actual corn kernels in it).
But I do love some grilled cheese as well.

Glad you enjoyed!

12. I've yet to find a soy cheese that melts worth a damn.
I am an omnivore, but I have lived with a few "sprout eaters" over the years. I have experimented with some of the products targeted to vegans. I'm ok with some stuff, but that cheese just doesn't get it for me if it needs to be melted or browned.

The idea of melted cheddar/jack with basil on sourdough does make my mouth perk up, I have to admit...
