WHITE TORNADO TODAY! What should I do first?

Actually, it would be helpful if you'd give me an actual agenda. I suck at housekeeping, and it shows in these two weeks that Mrs. V. has been gone.

I have to clean the kitchen, the bathroom, vacuum, dust, and just pick up in general.

HELP!

A strange thing to ask of my DU friends? I dunno . . . . I've seen stranger threads.

What is the White Tornado? Long ago, Ajax household cleanser had a commercial where the cleanser was depicted as a white tornado, tearing through a house and leaving everything sparkling in its wake.

Get that over with and then the rest will be a breeze, if not a tornado. LOL

8. I can relate to being a terrible housekeeper.

I absolutely hate doing it. I love to cook and bake and wish I had a trained monkey to come behind me and do dishes when I'm done. :rofl:

2. I don't know if this will help you, but I would do things in this order:

1. pick up
2. kitchen
3. bathroom
4. dust
5. vacuum

3. I'm doing laundry first,

but that's only because I got up early enough to beat everybody else in the building to the machines. Next it will be litter box, bathroom, vacuum, dishes, cooking, dishes again, then kitchen.

4. The best cleaning advice I can give you is this:

Start with one room at a time. If you skip around and go back and forth you'll wear yourself out!

Second rule? Stay off the computer and keep the TV off.

10. Do what I do.

Get stoned and think about it for about 9 hours. By the ninth hour you convince yourself you really like the house like it is.

Not a great long term plan, but it works out nicely for a day or two.
