1. It Wasn't a "Buy," but...
...I really regret giving my ex $200. I have nothing to show for it; he's a jerk.

I could have used that $200.

2. A garlic press
to replace my Pampered Chef garlic press that didn't require peeling the garlic cloves. The new one is a piece of shit compared to my old one. Unfortunately, Pampered Chef won't ship to Germany so I'm SOL for now. :(

33. I have no idea
but a lot of companies don't ship overseas. I suspect it has something to do with the hassle of taxing their items based on each countries VAT rates?

8. Get it from eBay ...
http://cgi.ebay.ch/Pampered-Chef-Garlic-Press-with-Cleaning-Tool-New_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQitemZ390050006761

They ship anywhere. We bought ours here, not Pampered Chef but looks like the same and works fine without peeling the cloves first. :hi:

4. I replaced my son's X-box when it died
it had the three-ring death twice before, so I replaced the whole thing.

It's not that I mind him having it (I love to do things to make my kid happy), but he never seems to remember that chores come before play.

...it's not a bad beer, but I didn't realize this deli was going to charge $13 for it. If I had kept walking another block or two to a place I usually go, I could have had Torpedo IPA for $11.

You go in for the free sample and end up spending $100. And the cream isn't any better than the cheaper stuff at the drug store.

Why do I fall for this scam!!!

29. rechargable batteries
I have buyers remorse on candy bars. I hate spending money, and I always think of some way I could have saved money or lived without whatever I bought. I used to go to stores, and find things to buy, fill a cart, and then go back around the store a second time to put things back. I still do that on a smaller degree, but my wife hates stores, so I don't have the time and do more pre-rejecting of purchases.

they are very different from anything I would normally wear.

Turns out they are very comfortable and I really like them now. I had them rebuilt -they are handmade in Mexico - when they reached age 15 years, and they are better than new.

Nothing I have fits, or even comes close enough to fake it, and I can not return it.

I will try to sell it at a flea market or on Craig's list.
It was around $35, not a tragedy, just annoying.

53. They don't refund the shipping charges you pay
to have the stuff sent to you plus you then also have to pay to ship things back unless there was a real problem with something (other than you didn't like it) and call them up to insist they also pay for the shipping on the return. Their customer service has been great as far as that kind of thing goes, it's just their merchandise is really cheap looking once you see it for real.
