David Bowie's "Low" is the most haunting album ever.
And it always comes up

Say what you will about Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Queen. For all of their theatrics - there was no there there.

David Bowie's "Low" - there is a there there, but it is a koan - because it isn't.

1. i bought that album from the record exchange in houston somewhere between 82 or so.
bought a used copy on vinyl for about $4.00.

i was probably 12.

2. I agree , It is also my favorite album of all time
I love the layers of warm fuzzy sonic goodness of Low and the evolution of emotion throughout the Album's progression. The lyrics are more like poem verses than song lyrics.
