4. "Going forward", "adding value", and "leadership."
There is actually a game that used to be surreptitiously played in meetings, called "buzzword bingo" that played off of all this crap. Not sure if it is still around - I've been retired for several years.

13. I'm with you on the "Going forward"--like we're headed somewhere in a strait line ...
I see life as more circular.

6. Believe me..., Trust me..., I assure you...
That means what a person says most of the time is untrustworthy. That fact makes everything that person says untrustworthy.

7. It is what it is
I had a supe who loved using that one. It's a substitute for critical thinking - which is rare enough these days.

8. I have a brother in law and a co-worker
who habitually utter the phrase "like I said" at the beginning of their sentences. It's extremely annoying because more often than not they are not repeating something they said earlier. I don't think they have idea they do this. A typical conversation goes something like this:

me: I'm sick of the rain.

BIL: Yeah, like I said, it's bee raining for days.

me: Yesterday I thought we were going to need a boat.

BIL: like I said, we had about 2" yesterday.

10. An adjective that tends to be overused by females: "cute".
It is used to describe anything and everything.
